THE TRUE TEST OF A GOOD SERVANT
1 PETER 2:18 You who are servants, be good servants to your masters--not just to good masters, but also to bad ones.
If you can only be a good servant to a good master, then perhaps you are not truly a good servant after all.
Your goodness is not proven by favourable circumstances or by how well you serve those who treat you well. It is revealed by your character when the situation is difficult and the person you serve is not easy to please.
Otherwise, it is not your personality that makes you good; it is merely the occasion.
True character is revealed not when circumstances favour you, but when they test you.
Who are you when serving becomes difficult?
