EXCEEDING GRACE OF HIGH FAVOUR

“And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. ” Luke 1:28 KJV
Eccl. 9:11
(NLT) I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.
I have observed certain mysteries in my journey on earth; mysteries that are beyond natural understanding and often defy human reasoning.
The fastest runner does not always win the race, and the strongest warrior does not always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. Even the educated do not always live successful lives.
Ecclesiastes 9:11 captures this mystery “The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong… but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
There are outcomes in life that cannot be explained merely by ability, qualification, experience, strength, intelligence, beauty, or human connections. There are moments when something beyond human calculation determines who is remembered, who is preferred, who is selected, who rises, and who is established. That something is GRACE.
WHEN CHOICES ARE MADE
Before the tables where choices are made, and in the boardrooms, palaces and places of influence where decisions are made concerning appointments, promotions, elections, contracts, leadership and positions of authority, certificates, beauty, experience, competence and other personal abilities do not exclusively guarantee the winner.
There is a higher Factor.
It is Exceeding Grace of High Favour.
The God who chooses does not always choose according to the standards by which men judge. Scripture declares: “There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.” — Psalm 33:16
And again:
“So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.” — Romans 9:16
When human qualifications compete against human qualifications, may Exceeding Grace speak for you in Jesus name.
I declare over your life this morning, that the weak shall become preferred, the stranger become accepted, the ordinary become distinguished, and the overlooked become the chosen in all your fields of human endeavours Jesus' name.
MARY: FAVOURED ABOVE ALL
Mary was not the only virgin in Israel. She was not the only young woman who could have been considered beautiful or worthy.
Yet, among many possibilities, Grace singled her out.
The angel declared “Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.” — Luke 1:28
She was chosen as the vessel through whom the Messiah would enter the world; a divine assignment that has never been repeated and will never be repeated throughout eternity.
When the competition of life becomes tight and the choices difficult, Exceeding Grace becomes the deciding Factor.
Therefore, in the name of Jesus Christ, I decree over you; May High Favour be conferred upon you today by the Spirit of Exceeding Grace. May you be preferred, selected, distinguished and elevated for that great office and position you desire, in Jesus' name.
DAVID: FAVOURED ABOVE HIS BROTHERS
When Samuel came to the house of Jesse to anoint Israel's next king, the choice did not ultimately rest on age, appearance or stature.
The sons of Jesse stood before the prophet, but God had already made His choice.
David; the youngest, the shepherd, the one seemingly forgotten in the field; was brought in. And the Lord said “Arise, anoint him: for this is he.” — 1 Sam. 16:12
David did not win the throne because he was the eldest. He did not possess the greatest stature among his brothers. Grace made the difference.
I don't know how tight, difficult or challenging the race to a good employment, a major contract, a leadership position or professional stardom may have become. But I declare "*Exceeding Grace is making you preferred above all others!"* in Jesus name.
Where others have stronger credentials, may Grace speak for you.
Where others have greater experience, may Grace distinguish you.
Where the competition is fierce, may Grace announce your name.
Where your qualifications appear insufficient, may Grace qualify you in Jesus' name!
ESTHER: FAVOURED AGAINST ALL ODDS
Consider Esther. Humanly speaking, almost everything seemed to be against her.
She was an orphan. She had no father or mother. She was not from the royal family. She was a stranger in the palace and had no natural advantage over the other contestants. Yet, when the time came for the king to choose a queen, Esther obtained favour.
Scripture says "And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.” — Esther 2:15
And when she appeared before the king; “The king loved Esther above all the women; and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins.” — Esther 2:17
She was preferred.
She was chosen.
She was crowned.
Exceeding Grace changed her story.
Therefore, I declare over you:
You will overcome sin and conquer the flesh
You will win the race to your marriage.
You will obtain that desirable job.
You will win that contract.
You will rise into positions of authority and leadership.
You will be distinguished in your profession and career.
You will prevail despite the odds, despite petitions, despite opposition, despite a weak curriculum vitae, despite limited experience, and despite those who appear naturally more qualified than you.
The Grace that favoured Esther will speak for you, in Jesus' name!
DANIEL AND HIS FRIENDS: TEN TIMES BETTER
Daniel and his three Hebrew friends entered Babylon as captives, strangers and young men without the natural privileges of the palace.
Yet, after their period of preparation and testing, they were found to be ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers in the kingdom.
“And in all matters of wisdom and understanding… he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.” — Daniel 1:20
They were not merely present, they were distinguished.
They were not merely qualified, they were preferred.
They were not merely participants, they became outstanding.
May the same Exceeding Grace distinguish you among your peers.
May your name stand out where many names are presented.
May your work speak beyond your years of experience.
May your competence receive uncommon recognition.
This season, the Lord God of my Fathers make you become ten times better in wisdom, excellence, understanding and performance in your chosen careers and life Engagements, in Jesus' name.
