EXCEEDING GRACE FOR EXCEEDING VICTORIES

“For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, Neither did their own arm save them: But thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, Because thou hadst a favour unto them.” Ps. 44:3 KJV

— 2Cor.9:14, Ps.44:1-4, Ps.33:16-17, Job.14:1, (KJV)

Life is full of battles on every side. Everyone born into this world must contend for their inheritance, their possessions, and the fulfillment of their dreams. No meaningful progress, building of a desired future, or achievement of dreams is possible in life without first subduing adversaries and overcoming evil occurrences (Job 14:1, 1 Kgs. 5:3–6).

Indeed, life does not always offer us what we desire or what we believe we deserve. There are battles to fight, resistance to break, and obstacles to overcome in our careers, professions, businesses, marriages, academics, and personal pursuits. Every advancement comes through forceful engagement to take territories, enforce rights, and establish dominion (Mat. 11:12).

The Scriptures remind us that "*sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof"* (Mat. 6:34). Beyond physical challenges, Scripture reveals the reality of unseen spiritual warfare; a contest against principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph. 6:12–14). If we must obtain our inheritance, fulfill destiny, and accomplish God’s purpose, we must stand firm in faith and engage in spiritual warfare, knowing that by grace we stand (Rom. 5:2).

No matter how fierce the battle may be, or how massive the mountains of hindrance, resistance, and opposition appear, in the name of Jesus Christ, you shall surely overcome!

1. Life Is a Battlefield, Not a Fanfare

When war broke out in heaven, Michael and his angels fought against the dragon until Satan was cast down (Rev. 12:7–12). If conflict existed in the heavenly realm, life on earth must never be mistaken for a fanfare; it is a battlefield requiring spiritual vigilance and divine empowerment.

Furthermore, those who win the battles of life do not prevail by human might, physical strength, wisdom, or material resources. A king is not saved by the multitude of his army, nor is a warrior delivered by great strength (Psalm 33:16). As Eccl. 9:11 reminds us, the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong; for by strength shall no man prevail (1 Sam. 2:9).

It is Exceeding Grace that empowers the weak, strengthens the weary, and enables ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary victories through God.

The Eagle's Wings: When the dragon pursued the woman to destroy her seed, she was given the wings of a great eagle to fly above the flood unleashed against her (Rev. 12:13–17). In the name of Jesus Christ, may the wings of exceeding grace lift you above every flood of adversity, satanic manipulation, and wicked opposition. You shall triumph over the tempest, and your seeds shall not perish in the hands of the enemy!

The Sling and the Stone: David confronted Goliath; a terrifying and experienced warrior; not with conventional weapons, but with faith in the living God (1 Sam. 17). The ordinary stone released from his sling was propelled by Grace, bringing down the giant and securing an overwhelming victory for Israel. What human strength could not accomplish, divine enablement made possible.

Whatever Goliath is standing against the fulfillment of God’s purpose for your life; in the name of Jesus Christ, it shall fall, and your testimony shall bring glory to His name!

2. Breaking Long-Standing Bondage

For over four hundred years, the Israelites endured oppression, humiliation, and the heavy burden of bondage in Egypt. Their deliverance did not come through superior military strategy, but through the mighty hand of God. The Lord broke the power of Pharaoh, brought His people out of captivity, and swallowed the Egyptian army in the Red Sea (Ex. 14; Ps. 44:1–4).

You may not yet see the way out of the battles confronting your marriage, career, health, finances, or family. But as you trust in the Lord; may He release upon you exceeding grace for deliverance, restoration, and overwhelming victory. May every yoke of oppression be broken, every door of opportunity opened, and every obstacle removed in Jesus’ name!

For everyone distressed, discouraged, or confronted with battles on every side: Your present struggles shall not have the final word! May the Lord turn your sorrow into joy, grant you the desires of your heart, open doors of marital restoration, bless you with the fruit of the womb, silence failure, and deliver you from every oppressive power.

3. Total Triumph Through Divine Intervention

The Word of God promises us:

"*We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed."* — 2 Corinthians 4:8–9

Through the greatness of God's power, His enemies shall submit themselves unto Him (Psalm 66:3). When Amalek attacked Israel, God empowered His people to prevail through divine intervention and the aligned leadership of Moses and Joshua (Exodus 17:8–16).

In this season, may the Lord grant you total victory over stubborn challenges, recurring setbacks, and persistent opposition. May every cycle of disappointment be broken, and may you enter a new realm of triumph in Jesus' name!

If you must triumph continually and overcome on every side, the answer is not self-sufficiency; it is EXCEEDING GRACE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.

"Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place." — 2 Cor. 2:14

You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Rom. 8:37). By Exceeding Grace, you shall overcome. By Exceeding Grace, you shall prevail. By Exceeding Grace, you shall possess your full inheritance! in Jesus name.

4. Are You on the Lord's Side?

The grace of salvation is God’s free gift, received through faith in Jesus Christ; it is not a reward for human effort or personal superiority. The Scripture asks, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" (Rom. 8:31).

Are you on the Lord's side today? Have you trusted in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and your redemption?

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, today is your opportunity to repent, confess Him as Lord, and receive His saving grace. The greatest victory of all is the victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
